I feel like I have neglected this blog lately, and honestly I have been a little lazy with it. The whole point of this blog is to inform you on the latest happenings at punkv0uge. So I promise I will try updating this with more than just photos of whats in the shop. Maybe giving some thrift finding tips, and the ins and outs of what I do for the shop.
I just got back from NYC and the vintage over there is pretty sick, but so pricey! I dont know how I am going to do it when I move over there, but I promise the prices wont go up too much higher for the shop. If I ever open up a shop in NYC I think it would probably be one of the most affordable shops in the city. I find no need to rip people off. Im a college student, and I know most of my customers are, and man, were on a budget! So I try to price things accordingly. In Miami we dont have"vintage shops" just goodwills, and random thrift stores in the not so beachy parts of town. So you really have to look for vintage pieces, for hours in jam packed aisles and screaming children popping out of clothes.
But the whole point of this point was to get you all a little excited. Starting..soon, Punkv0uge will officially be available off Etsy, directly on the website. So instead of the way it is set up with the links, it will be the actual shop. Were in the process of designing the site, and it will hopefully launch in a couple of weeks. Handmade/reconstructed designs are also in the works for the shop. Ive notcied a lot of people ask where I buy my bleached/cut up tops, and I would love to supply these really unique pieces. I will still have the Etsy shop for a while though for all you Etsy lovers :)
